About the Course
This 12-week bridge course offers a foundational immersion into 3D animation using Autodesk Maya. Designed for aspiring animators or transitioning students, it systematically builds core animation skills - starting from basic key-framing and the principles of movement, through body mechanics and character performance.
Autodesk Maya Fundamentals: Interface, tools, rigging, keyframing
Principles of Animation: Timing, spacing, arcs, squash/stretch, follow-through
Body Mechanics: Walk cycles, weight shifts, jumps
Character Performance: Emotion, gesture, storytelling
Lip Sync & Dialogue: Accurate facial movement matched to audio
Animation Workflow: Planning, blocking, splining, polish
Feedback & Iteration: Critique, self-assessment, revisions
Eligibility
No prior learning or experience in CG required to join this course. Open to all passionate and enthusiastic candidates who want to start their career in the CG industry. Minimum eligibility: 12th Standard.
