Led by experienced industry professionals, this full day participatory workshop will delve on some of the fundamentals elements of Animation Filmmaking.

Introduction and Breaking the Ice:
(10.00am to 11.00am)

Session 1: (11.00am to 1.00pm)
We'll explore how to read a film, and analyze its construction. Participants would gain an understanding of different cinematic elements.

Lunch: (1.00pm to 1.30pm)

Session 2: (1.30pm to 2.45pm)
We will apply a few technical principles in a hands-on exploration of Animation Filmmaking.

Session 3: (2.45pm to 3.30pm)
We would demonstrate that by stringing together the notions of concept, form, and technique, one can create a riveting Animation film experience.

A filmmaker and teacher with a strong background in film-making, the arts and media, and a unique vision of practice based art education. He has over two decades of experience at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bengaluru, where he founded the filmmaking course and was also at the helm of the Technical Undergraduate Program.

He mastered traditional animation in his stint at Ram Mohan Biographics. Since then, he has worked in Toonz Media, G7 Studio (USA), Studio Chops (China), 3DZinge, Aisthis Media, and now he works as head of Animation Training at Zebu & Datsi
